Colpofix Vaginal Gel is a medical device designed to maintain the physiological conditions of the cervico-vaginal transformation zone in case of changes caused by HPV (human papillomavirus). For the prevention and treatment of cervical damage caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). The vaginal gel is sprayed in fine droplets to easily reach the cervico-vaginal mucosa and coat it evenly. Colpofix mucoadhesive properties prevent leakage.
What are HP viruses? Human papillomaviruses, abbreviated HPV, are among the most common viruses transmitted through intimate contact. So far, more than 200 virus types are known. Some of these viruses are responsible for the formation of benign genital warts on the genitals, while other types are significantly involved in the development of cervical cancer and other types of cancer on the vulva, vagina, anus, mouth and throat area or penis.
Active ingredients:
Water, sorbitol, carboxymethyl beta-glucan, cross-linked acrylic polymer (polycarbophilic), imidazolidinyl urea, sodium dehydroacetate.
