Recommended intake of Vitamin D3 Hevert
To prevent a recognizable risk of vitamin D deficiency disease in otherwise healthy people without absorption disorders, 1/2 tablet of vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.0125 mg or 500 IU vitamin D). The tablets should be taken with sufficient liquid. For the supportive treatment of osteoporosis, take 1 tablet of vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.025 mg or 1000 IU of vitamin D). To prevent rickets, 1/2 tablet of vitamin D3 Hevert® daily (equivalent to 0.0125 mg or 500 IU vitamin D). The dosage must be determined by the attending physician. In general, 1 tablet of vitamin D3 Hevert® (equivalent to 0.025 mg or 1000 IU of vitamin D) is recommended daily for the prevention of rickets in premature babies.
